Makro Size Your Business with Alaska

Makro Extravaganza 2007 was held last June 28-30 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The event gathered Makro shoppers including Caterers, Restaurants, Hotels, canteen and sari-sari store owners for 3 days of learning and entertainment conducted and sponsored by leading names and brands in the food business industry. The Makro Exchange’s objective was to help better equip the Filipino Entrepreneurs with necessary skills that can help them become more competitive in the market.

Alaska Milk Corporation conducted the "Lasa Ng Negosyo mo, sagot ng Alaska" session wherein budding entrepreneurs were taught key business skills and secret tips that could help make their business prosper.

To add fun and excitement, Alaska set ups a booth complete with games that gathered the crowd, like "Don’t Get Wired", "Spot the Alaska Loyalist". "Pop a Balloon" "Hoop a Prize" and the much crazed about Alaska blimp called "Blimp-O-Prizes" which hovers around the area ready to drop a prize.

Alaska also promoted the habit of milk not for drinking but for cooking and baking trough sampling of various food preparations for breakfast, lunch and merienda. There was also a "Drink your Milk Gallery" where shoppers can have their picture taken with the famous milk mustache smile, just like the Alaska stars they see in magazines.
